I was enlightened about the Peachtree Diner in Roswell by someone who commented on one of my restaurant reviews in East Cobb. Here’s what he said:

“Another quaint restaurant that brings that personalized service that you expect is Peachtree Diner. We have only had breakfast at this restaurant, but let me tell you, it was to die for. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the company was second to none.”

After I received this comment, I decided to try the Peachtree Diner for myself.  I too went for breakfast, and I have to say that I wasn’t at all disappointed!  I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was delicious!!!

I’m looking forward to going back for lunch.  When I do, I will update this post!

Swallow at the Hollow is one of Roswell, Georgia’s pride and joys!!!

It’s an exciting Restaurant with a delicious menu chocked full of homemade food.  Their philosophy on their menu is: If you can make it homemade, you do make it homemade”.  And let me tell you, they make some tasty homemade food.  From hickory smoked meats, side dishes of homemade macaroni & cheese and homemade pickles to unbelievable desserts including homemade chocolate chip banana pudding.  My favorite though are the Fried Green Tomatoes.  Dip them in a little Ranch Dressing…and MMMmmmm!!!

Their music philosophy is that “if you are going to spend that much time and effort to make the food so good, you’d better keep the entertainment on that same level”.  And you won’t be disappointed!  Shows begin at 10:00 on Friday and Saturday nights presenting Nashville’s singers/songwriters/artists.

Of course, Wednesday night’s (inside) and Thursday night’s (outside, weather permitting) are real treats b/c there are no cover charges, featuring some of the talented local artists.

On Sunday night’s-inside the duo of Tom and Julie entertain you.

Come out and see the giant canoe full of beer!!!

Chicago’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant – East Cobb/Marietta, Georgia

I have had the pleasure of eating at Chicago’s a number of times.  I’m never disappointed.  It is only on special occasions that I go, because it is a little pricey.

The dark, warm atmosphere makes eating by the dim lighting on the tables very relaxing.  Sometimes it’s a little hard to read the menu if you get in the corner booth or tables, because it is so dark.

I know the owners and I have to say they do an excellent job!

My favorite is the Shrimp and Scallops! They are absolutely delicious!
